Uni kristal d.o.o. has been designing and manufacturing unwinding systems for the paper industry for over 30 years. Our systems are designed for unwinding paper rolls, films and other web materials in continuous production processes. We cover the full range — from simple mechanical unwinders to automated unwinding lines with integrated web threading, splicing and roll transport systems. Every system is designed to the customer's requirements: roll dimensions, line speed, material type and level of automation.
Roll unwinder
The roll unwinder is designed for unwinding paper rolls and is fully adaptable to the client's specific requirements. Systems include various clamping configurations and brake force control.

What does a typical unwinding system include?
Our unwinding systems are modular — we assemble them from proven components, adapted to your application:
- Supporting frame with guides and electric drive (vertical movement)
- Safety clamping chucks for the expansion shaft
- Guide roll system for the paper web
- Backstop for manual or automatic web splicing
- Floor table for positioning the roll onto the shaft
- Integration into the existing line control architecture

Custom adaptation and technical documentation
Every unwinding system is designed together with the client — from analysis of the existing line through to commissioning. For companies with their own manufacturing capacity, we also offer sale of technical documentation: workshop drawings, assembly drawings, technical specifications and assembly instructions. Documentation is prepared in accordance with industrial standards.
